During this time the influence and strength of the church began to be felt through the leadership of Pastor Ayesha with Pastor Nickelas as her assistant minister. More members were added to the church. In December 2011, Pastor Nickelas was ordained as a minister and continued to assist Pastor Ayshea. Among the members to join the congregation was the Family Umeadi. In December 2013 Meka Umeadi was ordained a minister and co-assisted Pastor Ayshea. It was through a prophetic word that Pastor Joseph informed CLF Medway that Pastor Ayshea’s leadership was to be handed over to Pastor Nickelas Thompson and Pastor Meka Umeadi from January 2014. Today the CLF Medway congregation stand as a people who are a Christ centred, purpose driven church who desire to live their lives in service unto God.
OUR STORY so far...
CLF Medway was first launched in 2008 where the first service was held in the living room of our Senior Pastor (Pastor Joseph Boadu). At that time, the members consisted of 3 people: Pastor Joseph Boadu, Pastor Ayesha Boadu (his wife) and Sakeena Banful. It was shortly after the church plant that other faithful members joined the Medway congregation: The Assare family, the Thompson family, the Aka-Kadjo family, Tara Coley and the Ainoo family. These members formed the core structure of the church. The congregation outgrew the house very quickly, subsequently leading then to bigger premises - The Hook Meadow Hall Community Centre.
